One of the greatest musical creations of the exiled Zimbabwean and South African diaspora in the Seventies, ‘Amandla’ was released in 1979 by guitarist Josi Ndlovu and bassist André Abrahamse (known as Andre & Josi). A blend of Afro-soul, rock and blues licks and flecks of funk, disco and reggae, it’s now reissued on Tidal Waves Music.
